Men in traditional dress crank the trapiche sugar cane press. The
rollers are set so tightly that it often takes two men to work the
levers on each side. The colorful loin cloths and beads are used for
ceremonies and special occasions. On this day the villagers performed
ritual dances and music for a small group of visitors.
