A young girl demonstrates the technique that Guatemalan women use for
carrying loads of all sizes. Her basket of tomatoes is a very small
load. Some women will carry bundles weighing up to 200 lbs. Their sense
of balance is so refined that they can turn their heads, talk, eat and
continue walking without using their hands to steady the load.
