Title:
4x4 vehicle crossing of the Altiplano desert and its Salars, Bolivia.
Caption:
Uyuni is the largest and most famous salar in the world. It is more than one hundred miles across between the village of Llica and the town of Uyuni.
Most of its surface is dry and hard like ice. In the center its depth
has been estimated at more than 30 meters and it is the world’s largest
reserve of salt. Only a few islands punctuate the perfectly white
horizon.
