Nights and early mornings can be cold in the Rajasthan desert. Old men wrapped in their camel wool blankets wait for the sun to rise.

The small town of Pushkar in Rajasthan hosts one of the world's largest camel fairs as well as a Cultural festival.
Excerpt from J-Philippe's story: We arrived there just as the purple light of the setting sun reflected in the clouds, and we watched with wonder as the orange ball sank behind the silhouettes of the camels. There were thousands of them all snorting and screaming. The camel drivers, most of them Marwari fighters, had set up camp sites everywhere we looked.
