Dirty and of aggressive nature; they are always
begging, I was told. And this might also be the impression of this angry
tourist: "No means no!"
Pushkar is a melting pot of tourists from all backgrounds. It is
difficult for Kalbeliya people to understand that some foreigners are
willing to give a hefty tip with a big smile just to take a photo, while
others will quickly get upset. This young Gypsy mother was desperate.
Some Kalbeliya women can be pushy, but this situation is rare. Sadly, it
is this type of situation that gives them a bad reputation.
